Smal
there was definitely something different about what we were trying to do today btw. A lot of our build-up went through the middle where as it usually comes from the full backs and down the wings. It's the right approach with Woltemade imo, but it's clearly going to take a bit more time to get the patterns nailed down.
joeyt
Having to play Dad's Army at full back every game won't help Massive 3 points

Will be much easier to pull off consistently once Tino and Hall are both back but I do see the vision with it.
Smal
Just now, Mole said: Will be much easier to pull off consistently once Tino and Hall are both back but I do see the vision with it. yeah, Burn kept initiating a pattern by making a run from LB into an 8/half space position so that the winger could drop deeper to collect the ball if necessary. Can't really think of anyone less suited to doing that than Dan bless him. It will be much better when Hall or Tino is doing that instead. I still love Trips but he can't play twice a week. Elliottman
Having our two full backs missing has had a huge impact in the way we play. The wingers are often attacking on their own. Once Tino and Hall are back fit I think we’ll start creating a lot more. Eddie as usual, has had a lot to deal with at the start of this season but we’re currently 3 points off 4th with West Ham next.
Gallowgate Toon
Using his bench very well. We've got a great squad but tricky injury bursts require managing regardless.

AyeDubbleYoo
I think the strongest part was the start TBH, we should've ruined them. But the last 20 was also great in that we refused to give up and kept putting them under pressure. I think Fulham were quite similar to Benfica in a way, didn't threaten us for long periods. This time it was because they picked all the tricky/fast attackers but nobody to earn them the right to play, I think. We just made a few too many mistakes and missed a few too many chances to really make it a comfortable afternoon. But could've been a cruise. The ref was also diabolical and seemed to have forgotten his cards, while allowing them to slow down every restart. Rich
Win the next three, which we’re very capable of doing, and he’s got us in a strong position across all fronts again, despite the wobbly Isak-impacted start to the season.
Danh1
First time we’ve won a game late on for ages. Nice to be on that side of it after 3 late defeats. Fulham are a decent side, thought they were good up here last season too. They just lack that cutting edge and a decent striker. Feel that there’s a few sides like that in the league. They’ll make it hard for most.

Some occasional nice patterns of play but it seemed like most of their chances came from us giving up possession too easily. They'll be alright but bereft of confidence once the second half went on. Elma
I love the League Cup stats and the fact we have a positive Champions League GD with only a 25% win percentage.
Coffee_Johnny
Premier League (Premiership) only, for manager's who've had at least a full season's worth of games. Both spells combined for KK. Saw a recent YouTube clip of EH picking a five aside team of ex-NUFC players and neglecting to pick a defender. Presenter made some snide Keegan style defending comment. Worth noting that KK managed 12 more league games for us than EH has thus far, and his NUFC conceded 11 fewer goals. In terms of scoring goals, KK's team averaged 1.69 goals per league game; EH's scored 1.75 per game. Facts don't always fit the media narrative.
