Nee offence Dokko because I definitely don't think the pressure being off can last indefinitely regardless of what he's achieved, but you literally said the exact same thing before the last derby in the cup. He's still here and we've got a trophy in our cabinet, so let's not go nuts with the proclamations

Aye. He won it though. 😂

I don't know what the answer is, but I don't think he does either. That's the scary part. I honestly think right now we're the worst team in the league. Just citeh up next, who well no doubt beat

He's under pressure but we'll turn it around eventually I'm sure.

With you on this. I think there will be some casualties; but trust him to do it. The full backs will be the first, then he needs to sort the midfield balance. Wissa will hopefully solve some of the up front issues once he returns.

The FBs won't be casualties. They are only playing due to injury and recovery of the first choices.

I honestly don't think I've seen you post anything positive about this club in the last 2-3 years. Do you actually enjoy supporting the club or is it just a habit?

It is possible to both absolutely fucking love this man and to level criticism his way when it's clear things aren't working on the pitch.

He fucked it today by not hauling Burn after that penalty let-off.

He could well be right one of these seasons. But it doesn't change that he's been like this every time this year since Howe took over.

I love Howe but agree with the Burn sub! Something needs to change and quick.

yes, many of us are doing both. Burn starting at left back to begin with is causing us all sorts of problems. The goal on Tuesday just papers that over.

On today's showing I'd agree with you. I do think he'll find an answer though.

I also think we should be able to play with more intensity considering we have a bit more depth (atleast better quality of depth). Last time we played the same team all the time with high intensity. Now we are rotating AND our intensity is lowered. Playing with more intensity would be taking advantage of the rotation. It seems to be a balance that we are struggling to find.

He will after we drop out of the CL. Uncertain if he ever will find the answer of finding a playing style that works while we are playing in Europe though.

Don't think that's the issue really. He's done a better job of rotating this season, the issue is we lost 2 players who between them are our 1st and 2nd choice left backs and our 1st choice right back. In hindsight we needed more cover on the left as losing Tino due to a freak injury effectively took away two players in one.

There's so much wrong with the football we're producing at the minute it's hard to put your finger on it, let alone correct it. I honestly couldn't tell you what the plan is these days. There's no discernable patterns, there's no energy or spark, no movement or enthusiasm. The players constantly look pissed off and negative, the passing is shocking, we can't retain possession, we seem to always want to dwell on the ball a second too long, we struggle to break the press. We don't press other teams any longer and we're still flat in midfield, one pass takes out 5 players. We're rotating players to keep them fresh but they look shattered after 20 mins. It's a complete mess. And that's before we look at formations, subs and other manager decisions.

He inherited a side that was soft as shit and we were the team everyone wanted to play against. Easiest fixture on the calendar for other clubs. Slowly the mentality changed and we became horrible nasty cunts who everyone feared, it was a complete 180. Performances so far suggest to me that we're no longer that team and we've reverted back towards being soft as fuck and a pushover again. Brentford played well today but they weren't Brazil 1970, they just did the basics properly and wanted it more. I also fear we've been sussed and are really predictable and passive, managers know exactly what's coming and play through us.

Last point - after last Sunday I expected a reaction from the players. West Ham was dreadful and the fact we've come back to London and put it that fucking shambles would suggest that Howe wasn't even close to getting his message across or, worst case scenario, they've stopped playing for him and want him out. Either way it's a huge half a dozen games for him, drop into the bottom 3 in December and I think they'll sack him. Massively worried for him and not convinced he'll get the time to pull it around this time

It's just really boring at the minute, to sum it up. You know it's largely going to be absolutely shite to watch while also not really being very solid. Everything is in front of teams, there's nothing going on to stretch sides consistently. We can't build attacks, the technical output of the side is absolutely shambolic at the minute, even/especially from our technical players.

Absolutely basic passes simply not being made, crap (and often selfish) decision-making, we never seem to be anywhere near second balls, and despite being full of giants we're not dominant in boxes.

This.

I love what he’s done, but he’s making the same mistakes over and over again. It’s stuff that we can see, so how he’s not is just infuriating.
