TRC
Big week for Edward, the easiest game of the season, a tough champions league game and a derby we were expected to win at the start of the season.

Honestly I thought the same after the West Ham and Brentford defeats but we came out fighting against City and Everton. You just have to hope there will be the same reaction after dropping points to a poor Spurs side on Tuesday. We can't keep giving away late goals, especially with the mackems looming. andycap
Big mistake benching Elanga after his everton performance it's not like he's been playing a lot to be knackered come spurs. Murphy supposedly has achilles problems so leave him on the bench I say, Tonali didn't look right either shouldn't of started if he's carrying an injury. Ramsey and Willock are there to use to help with that but we seem to keep playing our big players a little too much.

If we lose to Burnley at home and Sunderland that’s probably his 2 biggest losses he’s had for us? So with that being I can’t really see us losing on Saturday. Id be content with an undefeated week with at least one win in the PL.

If there was a ‘sackometer’ on a 1-10 scale, Howe would be somewhere around a 3 or 4 for me - it should barely register as a conversation point. I’m sure plenty would have him on 1 and shout at anyone who dared place it higher, mind.

Mountain
No point sacking the great man, nobody better is available. Easy to say sack him etc but the management could replace him and the replacement could be worse. I'm chilled for now, we are a bit shit but can be good sometimes, so whatever. I guess we'll all find out. It's still fun, despite being agonising.
Mattoon
The Spurs result wasn't ideal and definitely felt like points dropped but Howe didn't do much wrong, we were the much better side we just lacked that cutting edge and still managed to keep the unbeaten run intact. I have full confidence we are in one of his good patches and I think this period will reap some good results for us culminating in a win over Man Utd on boxing day. Keep the faith, Howe has always been and will continue to be the right man for the job.
Whitley mag
There’s nowt like a defeat by the mackems to send the fanbase into a meltdown. He’s not going anywhere but this is a week where he needs results to keep momentum going this season, there’s no getting away from it unfortunately we need to be mentally stronger and start cutting the errors out. Paulinho
7 out of 19 league goals conceded this season have been in the 90th minute or later. Serious psychological and/or tactical weakness in his side.
La Parka
Seriously needs to get on top of this mentality issue. Especially with the derby round the corner.

TRon
Glad he was brave and was liberal with the rotation. We got the result, and hopefully we'll look better for the next couple of games as a result.
nufc4eva
Needs to deliver next week, beat Leverkusen and win on the dark side. Nice to see rotation and still getting results though. Managed to give Joelinton, Bruno and Tonali rests as well as Barnes etc last 3 or 4 games and still doing ok. Hopefully by Sunday they are all firing. Burnley were the better side and we created virtually nothing. Scored direct from a corner and a penalty. I think there is a real disconnect in fans' perceptions in playing well personally. We played better against Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal and Spurs and dropped points in all those fixtures but because we went in 2-0 up fans think we played well. It is possible to play well and lose and to play poor and win and that's what we've been seeing this season. Edited December 7, 2025 by Heron
