If that's the case get rid of Krafth lascelles ruddy Gillespie as they're basically just cheerleaders stop giving them extensions if we have no intent of using them.

It's been said enough times but Gillespie is a training tool and is paid for simply being there to help with training \ additional shooting drills etc. No problem with that at all!

If Wissa, Woltemade, Gordon etc. want to stay late and practice then he stays with them and is the keeper they work with, the same would go for any up and coming attacking player who should be staying back to improve pretty much everyday.  Would you rather Pope and Ramsdale exhaust themselves doing the extra work or a youth keeper stunt his development via over use injuries?

Woltemade kept playing barely getting a rest aswell now he's looking knackered fitness wise. Osula at the time was lucky to get ten minutes in them games. Now he's injured woltemade has no option but to play couldve been managed better. In my opinion.

He doesnt look knackered fitness wise and the player himself says hes much fitter than he was. He looks sussed and a bit lost when playing as a 9 in our 433

Murphy looks no where near ready for PL football.

What? He came on the other night for 20 minutes against a team that had stopped attacking and didn’t do anything wrong. Oh and we won, which means by the rules of this place. You double their rating/ability.

Get him from the start, I say.

Murphy  is not a premier league starter IMO. With everyone  fit he is behind Hall,Burn, livremento. All 3 would be selected before him.Injuries may mean he has to play but I dont think Eddie will start him

Murphy, with 18 goals and 28 assists in the last 4 years against the top league in the world as well as cups and UCL, what level do people think he is? I mean, really?

I don't think Eddie rates him particularly highly but the fact he's trained with the first team for a long time and will know the defensive patterns etc probably counts for a lot and might see him trusted for a game or two whilst we're in a bind.

For what it's worth I saw him for Bolton away at Wrexham last year and he was entirely unremarkable at League One level. Did nowt wrong but didn't stand out at all.

He's actually a better player at centre back. Not great but he's ok in the middle.

People in here right off players when they've barely seen them play.

I mean Anderson was getting the miley treatment before he left for forest and fans thought he might not be good enough and look at him now.

Some younguns need to play to develop.

Some are Miley/Anderson level, some are Harrison Ashby or Ben Parkinson. Murphy likely isn't it but if needs must he should get the Ramage treatment and play until we have a fit player who isn't dog.

It’s worth remembering that Anderson did go out on loan so that helped his development.
Also, he wasn’t getting the minutes here that he needed to grow into the player he is now.

We've got to play to our strengths, it's as basic and simple as that, we make chances by pressing aggressively and turning the ball over high up the pitch or by hitting our pacy wingers at speed from a low block. We don't have the players to build up slowly while the other team resets and trying to play our way through two banks of 4, it's not a mystery why we are so toothless.

Just go back to what works because even in 2023 with half the team out injured it was more enjoyable than this turgid lethargy.

You're welcome wor Eddie, let me know if you need any more advice
