He does, but the argument that I have always said is that we turn up against the bigger teams and go missing against the weaker teams.

I’m not convinced we’ll put in a good enough performance against Everton next weekend.

Until this season, we've actually been exceptional v weaker teams. It's the likes of Everton, Fulham and Brentford we've struggled against.

Good effort, good performance

Fine margins and we had some poorer individual moments than they did I’d say (to be expected), the kind of game we easily take a point from on another day

Four away games in a row, three wins and our best performance at the Etihad in 10-15 years.

Bit unfortunate today, just let down by Pope being totally shit on the first goal and a ridiculous ref who just gave City every little thing all day long.

Yep, it’s against midtable sides that we’ve struggled

Can't fault that. Gave it a bash, we just don't have the ability to beat these sides at the moment though. No complaints and seen enough to think if we stick with this we might nick a minor European slot.

More green shoots today.  Good performance at a nightmare ground, look a lot better - shame about the result, but can’t be many complaints about the set up or effort levels.  We were the better side here.

I wish you were right...

Well said, was nervous when I looked at the fixture list after Brentford. Been much better.

DId anyone see the interaction between Luke Edwards and Eddie Howe in the press conference?

Yes. Didn’t seem anything out of the ordinary? Assuming you’re talking about when he asked his question?

Pre- or post-match?  What was said?

Post-match. Edwards asked Howe about did he know the rule around the push for the Burn goal and would they be seeking clarification on it. Howe said something like “no I didn’t so you taught me something there”. Edwards then made a jokey quip saying “not for the first time”, which didn’t really land with Howe or anyone else, and that was that.
