Needs to sort out this team in the summer.  Properly fucked up last summers window.

No reason at all he needs to be done here like

It's been a shite season and it looks like it will end that way, see how he gets on next year.

He's turned around shit situations before.  No one good is going to come in before summer.

Lads, there’s no way that happens. [emoji38]

Love me some Eddie, but change is coming.

This needs to end and it needs to happen before the next game. He’s showed that he’s not learning anything and refuses to change anything at all in terms of team selection and tactics. It’s done. Give the job to Jones for the last 5 games and get Iraola in the boardroom tonight for a chat. I was all for giving him the rest of the season as we seemed to have nothing to lose but right now under this manager we are heading for a bottom six finish.

Howe FC fans inhaling their copium before typing up this weekend's and season's excuses right now with why he deserves the summer to turn it around

The best coach of my time supporting the club but he's just not astute or flexible enough as a coach at the moment to go any further and last summer has shown he isn't reliable with money. This isn't a reaction to this loss or the last loss or the one before but has been the case for a while now.

They have accepted we are shit and now their only argument is to call us mean basically.

Not advocating for Howe to stay (and I still wouldn’t hate it if he did) but I’m struggling to see how a new coach gets this current crop of players to be any more successful? Buying half a new team just is not feasible under the restrictions.

It really is. Lots of players are going to leave and many will be signed.

He’s gone IMO. I think he’ll walk and this summer seems as good a time as any to put a line in the sand and take the side in a different direction. It’s the definition of madness watching us every week atm, he looks absolutely fucking wrecked and it’s time. The bigger picture has sadly taken a back seat to the more pressing, alarming matters on the pitch

This is a weird fucking feeling actually, talking about whether he should stay or go. It’s been so long that I’ve felt so attached to an NUFC manager - Rafa being the exception. Every other manager in the Ashley era couldn’t give a fuck about.

He's lost the dressing room, the players aren't playing for him anymore.  They looked utterly gutless until Trips and Bruno were on the pitch and basically just didn't give a shit.

You worked with the CEO Right? You think he won't accept this despite what Eddie has done?

The players are playing shit because of the bad coaching, so a better coach will change that.

Also a rebuild is totally feesable and we have plenty of money to spend, we can also sell lots of dross.

Rather them make an announcement soon by mutual decision, then he can get the send off he deserves with no toxicity.

Absolute club legend, forever remembered, but it’s run its course.

More than anything I’m sad this is how it’s ending, with a whimper.

I’m still Howe in, bit more because I am not convinced we can find a better manager than an Eddie Howe at his best than the fact I’m confident he’ll turn this around. Eddie is a man of introspection and learning from mistakes though, so I’d still give him the start of next season on the odd chance he’ll rebound. I also don’t want his time with us to end on such a sour note.

The lack of any kind of urgency in injury time there was pretty damning. So was the first half against Palace when we thought we'd come out the blocks flying and instead played like it was an early pre-season match.

Like many of our fans, I think the players may have lost belief in his system and ideas. They're playing like they either want him gone or think he's gone; they're just going through the motions all over the pitch.

I don't know what the next step for the club is but I'm concerned regardless of who the manager is next season. This bunch of players will have us in Spurs territory if we're not very careful with our recruitment.

I love Eddie but I am starting to think it could just be that Bruno is absolutely world class and he is just average.    What Are Eddies stats without him?

Yeah - it’s becoming clear Bruno and Isak carried the team (including Howe).

I think performances will improve from here till the end of the season but only because of Bruno tbh.

Still Howe in. Will revisit that in the summer, if he's still here by then.

Nothings changed for me. He still gets next season.

I agree but he is going to need to change the squad massively to get back to what we were. All of the signings we made in the summer are looking like ones I'd sell so I reckon we have snookered ourselves for a while and he will end up getting sacked next season anyway

No, you probably have to think in the opposite way: if we can’t change the team, you can only change the manager
