They have to offload a DP and begrudgingly accept our unchanged offer. The club will parade it as a victory but we'll know it was accidental. Transfer window in the MLS hasn't even opened yet by the 31st of Jan. But the major European leagues close that day. Point is Atlanta doesn't have to stress for the reason you imply, as they can just offload a DP to another MLS team. They'll only be able to use $650k on the team of any transfer fee recieved anyway.
