STM
Seems Villa are determined and they have much deeper pockets than us. No chance we get him anyway. Will make fuck all difference if Wilson wants NUFC move. He will ask Bournemouth to accept Newcastle bid.
Absolute Elsewhere
It's absolutely disgusting we still have staff on the furlough scheme while bidding £20m on players. Shouldn't be allowed at all. The furlough scheme is an easy ride though surely. What is it 80% of your salary for sat at home? Beats having to work a full week for that other 20%

Absolute Elsewhere
Central midfield is still an issue that hasn’t been addressed Hendrick through the door and Shortstaff secured; not a hope in heck there'll be any more moves in that department. Looking forward to another season of debating Shelvey's value to the side. A modern favourite. Ain’t nobody, Jonjo Shelvey, makes yorkie happy makes him feel this way

There's not much to do as it is with covid so working at least keeps you sane and gives you some structure to your week.

Guest
Not sure about that mind considering how shit we are in creating chances. We created more chances last season than we did the season before oddly enough. I think he’d be ideal for the 3 AMs playing off him. Similar player to Rondon, similar goal record. Obviously the tit head in the dugout will be a problem but that’d be the case whoever we signed.
Raconteur
Come on Villa, pip us to the post for this fucker. I’m looking forward to another hilarious season of Joelinton. If our budget is 30m, and we're paying half that for Lewis, then we're maxed out with our 15+Ritchie bid. Blown out of the water by Villa

TheInfiniteOdyssey
Getting a familiar sinking feeling that even if we sign these targets, who are all objectively very talented - Fraser, Lewis, Wilson, we don't have a good enough manager or coaching setup to make use of them, like McClaren back with that infamous spending spree Hope I'm wrong

Deuce
McClaren was such a donkey. Imagine having the likes of Wijnaldum, Sissoko, Thauvin, Ayoze, and Cisse in your squad and still getting relegated. Anyone who chimes in with “rAFa waS mAnAGeR wHeN wE wAs ReLEgaTeD” can get directly into the sea.

Deuce
Cisse was finished by then. He was a 1-in-2 scorer the season before. There was plenty left in the tank for a competent manager to squeeze out.
