Meanwhile in the real world clubs are signing players they have scouted and set up for months whilst the powerhouse that is NUFC has no manager no coaches and no one to blow up the paddling pool and put ice in the wheelie bins on Thursday

Happy days

Yup. That's one relegation spot booked for the season.

Would actually like that partnership in a 4-4-fucking-2. They'd probably never be fit enough to start together, but hey.

Just 35 days left of the Premier League market.

How many players will we get over the line in that time :hmm:

1 or 2, with the club stressing through SSN etc that these things take time, all the while managing to sell players in next to no time.

Can bet we will sign Sturridge as a gesture signing. He will end up playing 6 games and crocked the rest.

No way, he is a footballer, we need assets

Too true. We will probably sign bas dost over Rondon despite the former being 4 months older.

Bad dost plays like he's on smack as well

We’re not signing anyone at the moment, no chance. Ashley is running the show with Penfold his puppet, we might sell players but we ain’t signing any. Redfearn will become caretaker manager and will be told who he can sign, if anyone, which will all depend on if we get sold.

The players were in today getting their gear ready for tomorrow, bet they were all delighted with the shit show.

Any new puppet manager will find there are a lot of very average players at the club filling squad places and he will find to his cost that Rafas greatest achievement at Newcastle was papering over the cracks with bog roll.

Daily Star reporting that once Hayden goes the new manager will have £100 million to spend, its just unfortunate that he will get employed a few days before the window closes and won't be able to get any deals over the line and what's the point spending in January if you are already relegated? May as well keep the cash for the promotion charge.

100 million to get a Striker, 2 or 3 centre midfielders, a fullback, a winger and attacking mid in 3-4 weeks and they would have to gel, not a chance.

Not even sure what players you get for that money unless you unearth some gems.

I see you have forgotten to account for wages and agents fees. Say, 7 players for £100m = £14.3m each (so perhaps £8m transfer fee, £3m agents fee, £3.3m in wages). Simples

Don’t know why everyone doesn’t do it, Mike

I mean I know why, but I'd love to know why the Daily Star fail to mention that the same is said every window, yet we end up haggling and pulling out of loan deals over a million or two.
