Would be one hell of an appointment.

Not convinced he is cut out for club management but I dont think he would do worse than Becky. Also think he would jump at the chance.

I am reliably informed he has been watching our progress via drone for the past 3 years, so will be ready if we ask.

I think he was doing well for Toronto FC before the PR meant he had to leave. He was limited with the players he had, especially with the designated players who had checked out and just there to pick up their pay-check.

I actually think he’d be a decent shout for a club in the Championship, certainly better than someone giving Rooney another unmerited chance.

I don't know. I like the guy. He is definitely a bit of snake oil salesman. If the players drink the coolaid then he normally has a good run of results. He wasn't a disaster for TFC but I wasn't convinced by him. A win percentage of around 33% i think which given the mess of a club TFC was and is, isn’t too shabby.

I dont think he stacks up tactically for top grade club management. Drone gate really put a definitive end to knowing, so far at least.

I would love to see him at our women's team though.

Pretty sure he wasn’t good from the start for TFC. The games I covered locally, TFC were a mess tactically. That said, TFC are just a mess in general so him leaving for there didn’t make a whole lot of sense in the first place.

He‘s definitely the first bit. I first interviewed back when he took over from Carolina Morace with the Canadian women’s team and he had them believing. I think that gets found out at a certain point and you have to have tactical nous to fall back on. I like Herdman as a guy but he’s not up to it tactically for a top role.

Another terrible result last night. Langley has to go. The results so far suggest we have actually regressed compared to last season, and we need to do something urgently while it still might be possible to salvage the season.

He’s credited to being behind the development of Henderson when he was at Sunderland’s academy.

He’d be great as an appointment for our women, but that raises questions.

1. Since he has managed the Canadian men’s national team, and Toronto, would he see moving back to the woman’s game a step down?

2. PR wise a Saudi owned club sacking it’s female manager of the women’s team to be replaced by a man would take some getting out of in 2025.

Painful watch this second half. Enthusiastic but poorly coached, virtually no goal threat, Charlton defending the lead with ease.

Who would think, playing with no striker would lead to no goals, when playing with a striker leads to no goals.
