Realistic Transfer Targets (2025/26)

Recommended Posts

Yeah, he was great at the Euros.

Against Man Utd in the Europa League he was extremely disappointing though.

If they had played him less in that tie, I think they would have put Man Utd out.

Mikautadze absolutely stank the joint out at Ajax: €16m, five appearances, zero goals, and back to Metz on loan within six months. That said, it was the same season they spunked €12m on Chuba Akpom, had about six head coaches, and were bottom of the league at one point, so fuck knows how much you can read into it.

Any Serie A followers have any thoughts on Lewis Ferguson at Bologna?

Been named Serie A midfielder of the year https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cd13p97znw4o

Came here to ask this and found it already had been. Surely he'd be attainable and at a good price? Dennis Wise scouting tells me he looks like he'd be a good addition if we're looking to shift Longstaff & Willock. Gets about the pitch, combative and has a good touch on him, nowt flash. Almost what I think Lewis Miley could become, a bit of a disruptor and a headache to play against.

Besiktas interested in Tammy Abraham. "We should be all over that!"

There's a reason he might go to Turkey and that is because he is on the decline, they love a signing of a player on the decline.

12 league goals over the last three seasons.

Imagine Birmingham would want an absolute fortune for him, given what they paid.

Eerrrhhhh !! we are bigger and more successful that Birmingham, they are obliged to sell him to us on the cheap.

How much do folk reckon Stuttgart would want for Woltemade? Looks the absolute business in that number 10 role

61m EUR/~£51m according to Bild today. I do wonder if we might be interested in him given he can play up front, as a number 10 and as a wide forward. That's possibly the same price we'll be trying to get Joao Pedro for though I suspect (not that I think Brighton will let us have him for less than £60m)

Jay Stansfield has looked a real weak link in the England U21 team imho, I'd be gutted if we get linked with him.

He's really not up to standard. Even when he's had a chance he's acted like he's not worthy and tried to pass responsibility. Works hard, and I can see some Vardy like traits. Would cost an absolute fortune anyway.

Said in another thread about using a loan with buy option to exploit Chelsea situation and nab good young CM. But how about doing this for Josh Acheampong?

I rate him in similar ball park to Lewis Hall. Immensely talented and he’d be a good long term RCB lock down, who can also cover RB. Can slowly phase him into the side too ready for 26/27, but would be confident on him if Schar was out for a period of time, cementing the place early on.

Edit: Like the fee would be around £30m I’d anticipate, and that can be booked onto next PSR window whilst getting a player this season.

Monaco signing Pogba and Ansu Fati who can both play on the left/CAM. Possibly frees up Ben Seghir to leave? Seems like he can play as CAM/10/second striker/on the left. Could be an interesting more reasonably-priced alternative to Joao Pedro.
