Realistic Transfer Targets (2025/26)

When Eddie came, he inherited a team of badly coached players and made massive improvements to Joelinton, Schar, Murphy etc

Are there any good players that are currently badly coached in other clubs that would be an option?

They'd be much easier to sign.

Grealish on loan with an option to buy. City paying a chunk of his wages.

Hopefully they are still looking at a hybrid Forward / number 10 player. Would cover both up top and midfield. There must be players out there somewhere?

Garnacho ?

un-coachable even for Eddie?

I don't think you can coach thick out of a player unfortunately. I'm sure he could improve him technically but he'd still be prone to making stupid decision because in the words of Forrest Gump, "stupid is as stupid does"

That striker from Nice

That midfielder from Antwerp

Doable?  And would it leave us enough to get a decent young up and coming CB and a no. 10 type?

Evann Guessand. Might not be proven, but we can definitely look to these type of signings to pad the squad out. They are young enough to have a higher ceiling as well.
