A loan or fee isn't going to be sufficient enough to help out FFP efforts, and we'll be weaker for it. If Bayern were stupidly bidding over £30m I'd see why, but of course they aren't. Of the ‘purple’ players, Trippier is arguably the easiest to lose. That’s not denigrating him as a footballer, because he’s one of the best full backs in Europe, but he’s 33 and we have a readymade replacement in Liveamento who we can’t justify keeping benched.
