My dad says David Craig was a good player but Trippier is better. There isn’t one in mine - my NUFC memories stretch back to the ‘80s, and I don’t think we’ve had a better RB in that time. cubaricho
Don't think I've ever heard his voice.
cubaricho
I also love that when the interviewer asks him what it's going to be like to lead the team out at Wembley he says "well we don't know the team yet, if Jamaal is playing obviously he'll lead the team out" We've got a great bunch of dudes in the squad, man. Love it.
Rafalove
Sean Dyche was saying when he won the league with Athletici Madrid he face timed him from the pitch to say thank you, for helping him throughout his career. Lovely touch that.

Holloway
He's the best I've seen too, didn't realise his game intelligence was so high, along with his technical skill and delivery. Add that to his leadership qualities,he's blown me away tbh

Lovely touch that. On his under the cosh interview there’s lots of piss taking about him being Dyche’s favourite. It’s obvious that managers love him. bowlingcrofty
Have absolutely no doubt whatsoever he’ll join our coaching staff when he retires.
The Bonk
You'd be hard pressed to find a better definition of a model pro than wor Tripps. I loved seeing the reaction on here when we signed him and we knew the screws were starting to turn on our redemption arc.

Yep, I hope he stays, learns from Eddie and when Eddie is ready to manage England Trippier takes over. It's not just about leadership though, Eddie is great because of the detail and uses the data and science behind it.
Lush Vlad
Not sure what is more impressive. His flawless first touch from a crossfield ball. Or the way he conducts himself. Smooth operator on and off the pitch.

The College Dropout
Some good analysis by Sky. 2nd goal we've conceded that he's lost his man on the far post.

Haven’t watched the analysis but is that a little unfair? He didn’t lose him, as in he didn’t know where he was. Just when the ball fell to Paqueta (whose 1st touch was good) Trippier closed him down but unfortunately the ball went through him. Maybe I’m defending Trippier too much but I did think there was a strong element of luck about their goal.
Kid Icarus
We've conceded 12 goals all season, only 6 when that back 4 have played together. They need to find something to analyse I guess, but it's hardly a problem.

Maybe I’m defending Trippier too much but I did think there was a strong element of luck about their goal. The goal conceded at Spurs is practically identical. Joelinton doesn’t win it at the near post, man on the far post gets away from Trippier. Is it a major problem? No. It’s only happened twice but it’s something to note for sure right? Probably something EH will want to be sure doesn’t become a pattern. He wouldn’t chalk it up to luck and do nothing about it imo.
BoSelecta
They’re wrestling, paqueta uses the post to push himself back and gain half a yard then it goes through both Trippier and Pope’s legs. Shite goal to concede but I wouldn’t blame Trippier for it.
