alexf
What I noticed right from the off was that he was right into everything aggressively. That's what made him so good I'm his first period here and he set the tone and example for everyone in those early days. When he had his wobble, whether it was physical decline or off the field mental well fare, he noticeably started backing off and looking scared to engage due to lack of pace. But not today, that was the Trips we fell in love with, smashing in, winning duels, pushing forward, aerially strong, organising those around him. When he held that hammy I was so gutted for him and for us what impact it might have 2nd half. No bother he powered through and kept going. Top lad. John P
Had a feeling he would be a key player today given his experience of big games and playing at Wembley, and what a performance he put in. Positive from the first whistle in everything he did and some vital defensive contributions. If he moves on in the summer he should be remembered as one of the most important signings in our recent history

duo
If he does go in the Summer it is fitting he leaves with a medal for his time here.
Yorkie
Absolutely delighted that he's secured his legacy with his recent form back in the team, and he was exceptional yesterday along with the rest of them. Great man.
Tisd09
So many heroes out there yesterday, his big game experience was vital. Pity he wasn't a few years young, with his experience he is still one of the most effective RB's in the league.

Had Diaz crying to the ref all game and brought so much composure and direction to the back line. What a time to deliver that performance. Crazy. Diaz was getting some of the ball more and looked like he would be the Liverpool threat, then Trippier gave him a dirty nudge when he was in the air, landed on his back and didn't want anything more to do with Trippier
Doctor Zaius
Absolutely brilliant yesterday. A leader in every sense of the word.

So happy for him. He's been on a hell of a story arc with us. Looks himself again in every way. I assume he's off in the summer, but he's well and truly sewn himself into the fabric of the club in the best possible way now.

He was absolutely world class in that first 18 months, but more than that, he was the leader of the group and set the tone for everything. A club legend in my eyes, so pleased for him yesterday, he was brilliant.
mighty__mag
After all the emotion, I just want to pay tribute to this guy, he is a big game player, he shows up and gives it all, its been a up and down season for him at times, in and out of the side, but he's kept cool always had the top pro leadership traits. I thought he was tremendous yesterday, he was tremendous versus Arsenal, whatever happens with his career, id love to see him here in some coaching capacity. He knew something was going to happen when he signed believing in what he was told, im so pleased he stuck around to fulfill the dream.
Groundhog63
"Legs have gone" Get in the bin Outstanding performance. Noted, iirc after he toppled Diaz, when he was "chatting" with the ref? Bruno, Captain, came over and Tripps gently put his hand on Bruno's chest and held him back as if to say "no, I've got this" Him, Bruno AND Lascelles with the cup was so so classy man. AyeDubbleYoo
Showed all his experience and leadership last night, really immense. Those little headers back to the keeper showed a great awareness of the game situation and the need to spread confidence and calm. Haven't followed all his personal struggles too closely but I really hope he can end his time here as strongly as he seems to be doing. I'd keep him next season as well, if he's up for it. Aye, I think Bruno is best understood as something more like our spirit animal rather than a traditional captain

johnny36
What a class act Trippier is, Him & Bruno waiting for Lascelles before they lifted the cup. Will always be known as our 1st signing after takeover, to leave Atletico Madrid to join us who were favourites for relegation

Super Duper Branko Strupar
Watching all the players give him massive hugs was so mint. Longstaff gave him a huge bearhug. Im so happy for him to have done that yesterday, he was incredible and you could see the emotion on his face.
Superior Acuña
When the other players run to Isak for the second, Trippier initially just slumps forward. Meant so much.

Doubt it will happen but Spurs still have a chance to win a trophy this season and if they do they'll qualify for the Champions League. Can we all just imagine how shit that would be, if they could have the truly horrific season they are having yet still win a trophy and qualify for UCL.
