Not been in any of the videos or pics of them training yet, has he? Perhaps it is more the drills and ball work with the team? Not actually joining in with the games. From personal experience. Contact stuff, change of direction, jumping etc. That all takes time. Getting back to fitness, straight lines, controlled sessions in the gym or for sport seemed to come quite quickly. Who was recently released by Newcastle. He trained with the first team a lot and his nephew asked him who was the best player at Newcastle and he said Botman by a country mile.
