King HTT III
Botman is consistent in when he gets the ball he first or tries to play it, Schar likes to get the ball and move with it. As a result they compliment each other so well, two top CB’s on and off the ball IMO. Our best centre-back pairing of the PL era? Schar’s vertical passing is usually over the top into the channels and more speculative. Aye - speculative. That's not a good thing.

Lush Vlad
What a beast he is. I still hardly notice him in games. As he just always seems to be in the right place, so it’s not like he’s doing really noticeable blocks or last ditch tackles. His passing always looks effortless and all. He just goes through games completely emotionless. All the flapping, pissing and moaning from Arsenal last night. The Iceman wasn’t particularly arsed by it all. STM
He's got three 30 year olds alongside him and a side which protects its defence diligently, it's the perfect nursery for him at 22. The tricky part will be when we have to transition the old guard out in a few years and replace them with like-minded players thankfully we have the right be people in place to do that. He's very composed and assured tbf. I'd like to have him with an aerially dominant partner and a left back with more ability. Lush Vlad
Thought it was his worst performance for us. But it isn’t like anyone played particularly well. Bar Joelinton and Manquillo. Then Bruno and Trippier when they came on.
King HTT III
Shocking tonight, outpaced, outmuscled and his passing was awful. Maybe the intensity of the season and how many games he’s played caught up with him.
TBG
Okay he wasn't great, but let's let things settle and if we're all still feeling aggrieved, tomorrow can be his judgement day.
Wallsendmag
Looks far more comfortable with Schar alongside him. Bad day for him today, his first loss in a NUFC shirt but he's still class.
