Opposite knee to the one he had just injured the other month. To quote it '*coach* reckons he's pinged a ball in training and a bit of bone in his knee has dislodged/loosened off'

So it’s the knee he had operated on then?

I’m going to bed. This all sounds like BS to me

Oh look ... more great news regarding injuries.

What a disaster man. Poor Sven.

The risk we took last year with this guy might have done him in long term.

Hopefully not though. Just shut him down for the rest of the season.

It's pretty common for players recovering from ACL injuries to pick up other injuries during recovery.

Well I know from experience you can end up with bits of bone in your knee when you do a ligament such as your ACL as it can pull some bone away with it when it ruptures.

Hoping this is some kind of Twitter ITK stuff, as in it is utter nonsense. Or that you’re on the wind up. Otherwise we are absolutely fucked at CB and light at LB with Hall missing and all.

If I was on the wind up, I would be doing it to the Arsenal or Liverpool lot.

So someone has appeared today with no history at all in the past regarding any other injuries or fuck all else for that matter. Until I hear officially from the club, am I fuck listening to someone who only just joined and has only 8 posts

Fair enough, can't argue with that.

Very common in fact people are also often more likely to suffer an ACL rupture in their opposite leg than re-rupture their operated leg.

Doesn't make sense. His value will have stagnated or fallen since peak.

This really depends on what the coaching team are seeing from Botman when he returns. After this length of time out his development may have been significantly impacted. Do you gamble on him getting back on track, or cut losses. Personally I'd keep him, but I wouldn't say a sale doesn't make any sense.
