Anybody else clock this guy and Willock during the lap at the end? No clapping of the fans, barely approached the Gallowgate and were first off the pitch. Poor.

Not surprised. Botman especially has a face like a slapped arse and obviously has a bit of a tip for himself. Wouldn't surprise me if Willock runs down his contract as well.

A pair of Isak sympathising nobodies.

Add Burn to that.

I'd be more worried if he was happy sitting on the bench. At the moment though I think it's a blessing in disguise for him that whether he likes it or not, we're not pushing his body to the brink of collapse again so he is able to play 50-60 games every season in the future.

Really wish I hadn't spent 20 years on this thing and could walk away because there's some right fucking pricks.

Sometimes I think this place is a right shit hole.

Botman is naturally going to be frustrated, he wants to start. He missed last season and won’t want to watch this one go by too.

Around February/ March last season Burn was creaking so he will get his chance in time. I love Burn but Botman can play at a higher level

Yeah, Botman is class.  hard to argue when weve only conceded against liverpool with 10 men though.

I don’t think their levels are that far off from one another. Burn is consistently at a minimum a 7/10 every game and often an 8/10. His distribution is less expansive than Botman and safer but he’s extremely accurate and good at his short passing. Botman is similar standard really defensively, perhaps slightly less consistent positionally but better on the ball. Don’t think it’s clear cut at present who should start even though it will become clearer because of Burn’s age. Fuck knows if Botman’s body can even handle it though

There will be plenty of games for him and Thiaw for that matter. He’s coming off a long term injury and had a recent injury so needs to be worked back in slowly to prevent reoccurrences. If Schar and Burn are playing well and have no injuries there’s no need to rush him back. Let Botman work his fitness back up, get some minutes as sub at first then later on some starts. I understand he wants to play but getting injured again in a World Cup year is the last thing he will want. There’s no rush.
