On a piece of paper from 2 years ago sure. In practice two years later he needs to prove that again.

Nah, only need to go back last season against Spurs and Arsenal. Agree he has to stay fit and prove it over time, but its not any doubt for me.

That's the thing though, he has to prove he's got the fitness to be what we think he is.

Surely that proves he is who everyone says he is? If he's putting in the performances when opportunity is provided but isn't there often enough?

I think it would be a much bigger red flag if when he played and he sucked. (Aka Willock)

I need more than 3 good performances in 2 years to believe it personally.

Between him and Burn for man of the match today, looked incredible and happy that he got through 90 minutes with no injuries.

He was better on the ball than Burn, he deserves the award more.

At least we are defending well as a team.

Oh I'm not saying start him every game yet, just saying that when he plays if he performs it tells me still has 'it'

Obviously he needs to be out there just like any other player.

If he can string a few games together without worry of injury I'll be well pleased.

Needs contract sorted along with Tino and Hall as all three are dead certs to be our future backline for the foreseeable so long as they're fit.

So good when he's running back towards goal where it looks like back to Pope is the best option, where he drops a shoulder and heads it away from the forward and brings us forward.

That moment where he then accelerated away from Evanilson was class. Hopefully can utilise him across this season as has missed serious amount of games in recent times. I thought he was great today.
