Been brilliant tonight, a reminder of the level he can play at when he's on it

How easy they forget.

Like Miley people here were quick to say he's not good enough, he's a top level defender and players of his quality are really hard to come by, i'm interested to see if anyone can dig stats on how we preform with him on the field vs without him because in my head we are significantly better whenever he's on the pitch.

It's now 13 Champions League games since he signed for us, he's started 5 of them, they're our only 5 clean sheets.

There's absolutely no excuse for Burn to come back in this time.

If Sven drops clangers at centre back like he did earlier this season then Burn should come back in

Thought he played really well tonight albeit against little to no threat

Burn would have been out the team 2 years ago if that was the criteria like. I've a sinking feeling he'll push Botman right and drop Thiaw.

When has Burn made clangers at centre back?

Didn't cover himself in glory against Spurs like.

You don't drop your best CB after just two noticeable errors anyway (Brighton & West Ham away).

Every time Burn loses his place one of our starters suddenly gets an injury. One of Botman or Thiaw will get injured in the next few weeks. Big Dan Burn doesn't do bench sitting.

Botman was dreadful against Brentford too.

There's a reason why people were a bit apprehensive about him signing a new contract and not just the injuries. He played well tonight but you'd be disappointed if any of our defenders struggled tonight against that opposition

Proper man against boys performance from him tonight. Looked almost nonchalant at times.

I can recall one or two bad performances from him this season but mostly it's felt like he's rolled it back to 22/23 when he's featured. Delighted he's committed himself to us and pray he stays fit cos he's really good.

Dan Burn's been class at CB tbf, we've missed his height at set pieces, defensively anyway. But Botman is the future.

Yeah Burn's a very good defender, don't mean to imply he isn't. He's just definitely up to nefarious shenanigans to ensure he keeps playing.
