No they seem to have too much going on. Linked with every forward under the sun.

A deal should be relatively easy to do, which would be a pleasant change.

They are also seemingly going to spend huge again so will be looking to get some of that back.

I rate him, yes he didn’t have a good second half of the season, but that’s the form Southampton showed too, the two go hand in hand. He’s strong, quick enough, can finish, can play down the flanks or through the middle and I imagine wouldn’t be demanding the number 9 shirt and to play every game. He’d be perfect on loan with an option to buy. Frees up money for other areas.

Can’t see Chelsea going for that mind

It’s been their policy for years…

Lingard would be fine on a free so long as he isn’t going for silly wages. He’s basically a budget Paqueta, so we’ll have more money to splurge on an RW and a Striker.

He will be wanting silly wages though. That's why West Ham are walking away.

Nature of the beast when you’re a free transfer though. Can’t see anyone offering more than 100k though, unless Everton are truly desperate.

What are silly wages for an out of contract player?

If we give him a hefty signing on fee, wages can be kept low.

Re Broja, 9 in 38 isn't amazing, but I think only 23 of those were starts which looks a lot better, especially for his age.

I noticed he was born the day before 9/11  We're so old.

Lingard is essentially a slightly more productive Almiron. If he was our answer to the right wing, it would be incredibly disappointing.

Especially as he isn’t a RW
