Mansour
Gordon and Michael Olise for the price of Diaby would be a wise move. Two different profiles on each side, that would be fun to watch.
Chrisjraby
Really torn on this one. No doubt Gordon has talent, but every time I've seen him I've absolutely hated his attitude, especially in games against us. I've got no time for diving either, and it frustrates the hell out of me every time Almiron does it too
WillingtonMag
Was still dreaming of Wilson Maxi Diaby Paqueta
KaKa
£35 million for Gordon has me shook. Kid is talented, but man, seems a bit much. Would have preferred more accomplished alternatives from the continent with that money. There's probably some desire to get some British players when possible, but even then, think I'd go for Hudson Odoi over Gordon, and I'm not sure it would even cost as much. Or Noni Madueke who is from these shores as well.
Coffee_Johnny
Gordon plays on either wing. Given Spurs were sniffing about, and also allegedly fancy Maxi, might he be one of two wingers coming in? Just thinking of earlier conversations here saying that Howe may not see Maxi as his ideal kind of player (work rate wise) and the chance to get the most we can for him is possibly now. Not trying to create unease, but thought just dawned on me.

He's young too and has room to improve. Not against the signing. Aye, few times I saw Everton he was literally the only player trying to take the game to the opposition He has pure rat genetics but he pretty much ticks every box Howe will want in a young player. Kid Icarus
Would rather we signed Gordon, the fictional train from Thomas the Tank Engine.
SUPERTOON
Genuinely can’t see this happening at all tbh, Everton don’t need to sell and I can’t see the lad himself trying to force a move.
Kid Icarus
I don't rate him and he's a cheating, emaciated smack rat
Dandy Man
Gordon is decent, 35 mill seems about right and would rather we got him than DCL if we have to give Everton money. I think he's an awful little shit but that opinion will likely change if he's wearing a Newcastle shirt.

KaKa
Did Gordon come up through the Everton academy? Would be an incredibly bad decision for them to sell if so. He should be the one current untouchable that they should be looking to make a key piece of their team.
Dokko
I'll say it again. Gordon is Alan Smith. Would.be wounded paying 35m for that.
Kid Icarus
Hopefully it's brinkmanship in order to force BL's hand for Diaby.

Everton may not have the same desperate need to sell that hey had last week when the reporting period deadline was approaching, but make no mistake, they're far from out the woods yet. Kid Icarus
From what I've seen, I'd be more than happy with Harrison like. Much lower risk than Diaby as well.

Hanshithispantz
We've been working with StatsBomb since February. Howe's record of bringing players in is strong. Ashworth is in with (I assume) any contacts. If we've identified Gordon as worth £35m I really wouldn't worry like. Looking on GOT most Everton fans don't want to sell him for that. SUPERTOON
Harrison has only one more goal involvement than Gordon fwiw
Hanshithispantz
Harrison makes more sense on the surface like. Unless we're selling Maxi bringing more right footed wide players in seems counter productive. Edited July 6, 2022 by Hanshithispantz
Coffee_Johnny
Funny I was just thinking we could get Gordon and Harrison for an outlay of around £20m, if Maxi is wanted by Spurs (circa £45m).
