The Prophet
Fabuan Ruiz is a lush player. If he's available, he won't be short if offers.

Complete contrast and missing link from what we have. Strong, great pace but also direct. He can be a battering ram and hold up the ball too. Think he would be a great partner to Wilson or a focal point if Wilson isn't fit. Doubt he is open to come given all other offers on the table. The price tag would likely be most of our budget too. I can see us looking to sign a big name young Striker that will be our talisman for the best part of the next decade, just don't think it will be a priority until we fix other areas in the team. Especially if Hugo does come.

nufc123
For all the talk of Bundes being rubbish. Two of the best players in their position was bought in from the Bundes. And now one of the top 3 strikers in the world came from the Bundes. If Nkunku and Diaby are overrated then Maximin is trash. They are in the national team. Maximin is not even close to make up the numbers.
nufc123
1 minute ago, ManDoon said: Lewa? He’s really good yeah but he absolutely feasts on being in easily the best team in the league and the poor defence. Haller scored a boatload there. Was thinking of Haaland but yeah Lewan also. Two of the best strikers in the world. Lewan has done it plenty of times in the CL so its not just the league.
The Prophet
I love the Bundesliga and there's undoubtedly loads of talent over there. It's just that a number of teams play with a high press or a counter press when they aren't equipped to do so. It means it can be rather easy to score goals. nufc123
Just now, ManDoon said: Sure, but their numbers are vastly inflated imo, particularly Lewa. Bayern have won the league 9 times in a row I think. You could say the same about Mbappe but it doesnt stop people from praising him.
Dr Jinx
Who can afford Lewandowski? Can’t be that many clubs who could realistically take him on
nufc123
1 minute ago, ManDoon said: Yeah you can, and I’m not saying Lewa is a bad player but that league certainly favours goal-scorers. Bayern are so dominant in that league that it’s essentially pointless. As soon as they played a decent team Villareal, they went out. Yeah I wasnt going to discuss strikers from the Bundes really. The point was, if we can get Nkunku or Diaby we should see ourself very very very lucky.
McCormick
Not saying they aren’t good players, it’s just the league they’re in makes it difficult to ascertain their actual quality. I’d be very happy with either (N’kunku more so) but you’ll be overpaying for goal scoring numbers that they won’t be able to replicate in tougher leagues. nufc123
28 minutes ago, ManDoon said: Exactly that, its so hard to judge attacking players. Sancho was one of the best players in the league and he has not replicated it at Man United. A good indicator is when they are performing on the same level when playing league, CL/EL, national. WilliamPS
Depends how good they were at their peak! I’d have taken many past it players over peak Jeff Hendrick

Could see more loans to see some of the players out the door.
