i'm bothered at how it comes across to saudi fans as its all over twitter now, and it'll get to the owners that one of our most celebrated fans doesnt like their kind.

Plenty on here don't like the saudis and their culture mind

I don't think anyone has a problem with Muslims or the Saudi population. It's the state of KSA and it's policies.

you have to listen very carefully to even make at one point that he is talking about shearer as his name doesnt come out in the subtitles.

His whole family were at the airport last week. Flying out to Barcelona on same flight as us. 2 hour delay. Chatted with us for ages. Kids were asking about their wedding and the bairn. Such canny down to earth people. His wife speaks perfect English.

Forgot the match but walking up to SJP there was a group of lads singing "39" to the tune of Yellow Submarine. "Thirty nine, thirty nine, thirty niiiiiiiine, thirty nine" then at the chorus "his taxi is number thirty nine, number thirty nine, number thirty nine"

 

They gave the dad of one of our players his own  song. No wonder he loves it here.
