Looks like the cartel journalists will be out in force trying to unsettle as many of as players as possible this summer.

The campaign started during the last International Break

It's how you spin it - three DOF in four years, no investment in the squad for three windows, no new training ground, no new stadium, shambles of a Summer.  To get Bruno when we were in a relegation battle, when Arsenal were at the time - clearly him/others were sold a project that everyone can see looks to have stalled.

I absolutely would criticise them for the delay in replacing the CEO and replacing Paul Mitchell (and the Paul Mitchell appointment in general). But I don't really see as being in a mess right now. I'm 42, and this season is still probably in the top 10 seasons of my lifetime. It's really not been that bad of a season. A bit of a disappointment sure, but it's a long way from being a complete mess.

Does Ben Jacobs hate us?

Ben Jacobs:

"With Bruno Guimarães, my understanding is there's kind of a verbal agreement in place that for £80m for a Champions League club, Newcastle would engage."

"I'm still told that if somebody is to move for Bruno Guimaraes within England, it's more likely to be Manchester City than Manchester United, and City will likely be in the conversation for Elliot Anderson as well."

Fuck off Ben Jacobs. Clearly a client journalist getting paid to unsettle players in return for information from cartel clubs.

If Bruno G left for Manure I'd be done with football

Us despising this season is an indication of how far we've come but I place the lion's share of that at the feet of Eddie, his staff and the players. If some of our top players see the timeline and measure it against their longevity and feel like it's time to move on, fair play. Thank you for the cup. Don't go on strike please because I still ain't listening to fucking ABBA.

You are seeing it from a fans perspective - elite footballers want to win things.  So they want to be at club that will provide them with the platform to do that - it's all well and good Hopkinson telling the world Newcastle are going to win everything in five years without presenting a clear plan as to how. It's just meaningless words. And the players can see that.

But that's not the ownerships fault. If the players wanted us to be challenging for the title by now and have a brand new stadium and training complex, then they were always going to leave, as that was never going to be completed within their time at the club.

Being pedantic and mainly teasing what has Arsenal won in the years Tonali has been in England?

He’s a good player no doubt but not sure about elite… Arsenal have a premium of power over precision at the minute and he does fit that but for me elite means more.

I admit I am old fashioned though, probs why I don’t watch as much football as I used to.

It is the owners fault if Players want to leave after being promised a project them to get them to join

I'd trade for 80m ish, never bought into the crack he was the best midfielder the club has ever seen by a mile etc

Look how shit we are without him. Look how good we have been for the 4 years he has been here when he has played.

No chance he leaves , nobody is paying big money for him at his age and even if they did no way would he kick up a fuss to get a move . It will be Sandro and Tino who leave this summer.

OK your word is law lol

Is elite 1 season only or a purple patch à la Miggy?

Like I said mainly teasing as he is a very good player who I would rather keep but for me Declan Rice is better, KDB was better etc. Elite is being where not many others can get too, again in my humble opinion
