I think the team is better when he is deep.

Yeah, been saying all season he had to drop back into that position for us to get a better hold of games.

He's just a completely different calibre of player initiating play from the back than Tonali is. Everything was going through Bruno in midfield.

He was finding Ramsey and Willock in great little pockets of space higher up the pitch, where they could really shine, and the wingers benefitted too by not having to drop too deep to get a hold of the ball. They were getting the ball higher up the pitch in more space.

Hope he's not out long.

If you call that walking then yeah

If it was anything major I wouldn't expect him going about the pitch at the end at all but I guess we'll find out soon, hopefully it's ok.

Think he might be knackered going off the vibes from Eddie on the presser.

Yeah, I've only read his one line, short answer.  But the fact he is saying they are still waiting to see what the full extent of the injury is.  Has me pretty worried.

If he is missing say, the next 8-10 games as a guess.  That would fuck us right up.  Any longer and the season would be all but done without our talisman.

It was an awkward incident and probably ties into him rushing back from his previous injury. It was mentioned he said he had never had an issue with hamstrings before, which is believable with his lack of pace.

However the pain he seemed to be in immediately looked reminiscent of when players "tear" their hamstring.

If it is torn then that's atleast 3 months.

If were lucky then it was a weird combination of cramp and the impact causing his pain and he might have got away with a strain which would be a few weeks instead.

Instincts say unfortunately it looked like a bad one.

If results are poor over the next six weeks, no doubt the press (and many fans) will completely ignore the fact we've faced probably the worst schedule burden of any club in Europe, have a budget that's half that of the breakaway clubs that might face similar scheduling, and that a number of key players as missing. Yeah we've been playing a bit shit, but there's no fucking context from some.
