Pope Thiaw, Botman, Burn Miley, Tonali, Ramsey, Hall Elanga, Wolt, Gordon That way Miley (providing he's back soon) and Hall can invert or bomb on to ease the creative burden. It’s too much, the standard of football now is suffering because of it there’s barely any games now where it’s a good game with both teams in top form. Usually one team is ruined with injuries or is knackered from playing a million games. Brentford are bang average but they are well organised and a very fit team, just focussing on the league if 9 teams weren’t in Europe no way would they be where they are. Yeah we've been playing a bit shit, but there's no fucking context from some. Well on the plus side, that will take the pressure off as it's a legitimate excuse for poor results in the immediate future.

Yorkie
It's an absolute miracle it hasn't happened before now tbh. He's played 230 games for club and country since he signed for us. That's an average of more than one game per week constantly, for four years straight. Plus all the travel, training, and the mental toll of representing his country and captaining his club. Those two things have derailed our season. I'm not just talking about us, though I do think we are on the extreme end of how ridiculous it is. We're into the third straight month of top managers and players bringing this up and various teams being crushed by injuries. 4x club competitions (+ a wholly unnecessary summer one) combined with international friendlies and qualifiers all leading up to the World Cup only to do it all over again 4-6 weeks later is just too much football.
