HaydnNUFC
He's a CL level quality player. Some of the passes he picked out v Brentford and in the cameos in the home games were evidence of that. He'll start in the upcoming away games. Suppose he'll never live down when he came back inside in the box in stoppage time yesterday to some. He did that at Lyon a few times, even though its heart in the mouth stuff he'll have been the calmest bloke in the stadium.

What, specifically, have you seen - even in the slightest - that makes feel he'll fail? I have a gut feeling Jonjo Shelvey could be sent off in any game. It's only happened once this season, but it's at least based on the odd poorly mistimed tackle. Personally, I've not seen owt in what we've seen of Bruno so far to give me a similar feeling of him failing.

Fantail Breeze
Imagine someone trying to explain to you in December we’d have a £40m CL player on the bench to accommodate Jonjo Shelvey.

Boo Boy
I think Bruno plays these next 3 away games and each 1 of the current 3 rests for one game so we can see which 3 is the best combination.
WillingtonMag
I'd definitely start him Thurday now things looked maybe a bit stale in midfield on Saturday players might be getting tired as well think now is the time to mix things up.

This. He needs to start a game and Shelvey was pedestrian on saturday, so there is no better time. Would be nice to see willock getting some decent through balls and some more link up between ASM and bruno

adamjk007
He's is going to be a huge success here! No doubt about that, will take time but in the brief cameo's you can just tell a special player.

The Prophet
Howe has said numerous times that Willock and Big Joe are the attacking midfielders. He therefore must see Shelvey as the deepest of the three, which will eventually be Bruno's position.

I've seen a fair bit of analysis that suggests he's equally comfortable as a DM or a CM. My guess is that Howe will sign a player of similar quality and play a double pivot, with Bruno and a new guy. STM
In his last two cameos against Brentford and Brighton we have changed formation, when he came on, to this: Bruno Shelvey Joelinton Willock Fraser Wood It's an insight into how Eddie Howe sees Bruno.
