It’s initially difficult to envisage who could readily pay the £100m, but if City could sell both Phillips and Nunes, that’s a decent chunk of the fee already paid for.

There’s persistent talk of De Bruyne to Saudi as well, so they could potentially be in a really strong position to actually buy both Paqueta and Bruno if they wanted to,

City don’t need to do anything to create headroom to buy him. They make so much money.

The day he leaves, retire the no.39 shirt. Aye, I'm going over the top here mind but it's an iconic number for an iconic player. Don't even know who wore it before him, don't ever give it to any daft wannabe after him.

If PSR is what it is, and we have no wiggle room in the market then he might have to go. Which is bullshit in itself but we can't carry on with this squad really.

If he's going to go, he should go early in the window, allowing us to rebuild.

He's irreplaceable really. We've seen Liverpool spend 60m on Szoboszlai who's been underwhelming. Players like Bruno and hit the ground running don't come along unless you're lucky, but maybe improvements to other areas of the team soften the blow, and we might be better off for it longer term all in all.

Absolutely no guarantee we'd spend it wisely like. A Spurs situation, where they spunked the Bale money on absolute dross, would be a disaster.

If he leaves in the summer, the biggest "what if" for me will be around seeing a solid season of him, Tonali, and Joelinton in midfield. Will be gutting to not have seen that properly. That being said, it does make it somewhat more palatable that any funds would be reinvested in the squad, and not squandered by some cheap, nasty third-rate sports shop owning cunt.

It won’t be Man U, pointless move for him and he’s better than them (as well as us).

They are assembling one of the best back rooms in the business , are one of the biggest clubs in the world , have a better squad than us and likely will be in a better European competition than us, have won 1 trophy last year and might do again this year ?

If he wants trophys and glory it’s probably in the top 5 clubs he could go to

And they are building a new stadium

its still horrible mind

1 so are we

2 historically yes

3 debatable

4 yes but not Champions league

5 he’s not forcing a move for a league cup

There’s 3 English clubs light years ahead of where Man U are…add to that Barca, real, Bayern, PSG.

50:50 if it goes but I’ll eat my hat if it’s Manure.

They are ahead of us in the league

And were last season also

And have been in 3 finals the last 2 seasons

It’s not a great leap to say that’s ahead of where we are
