There have been quite a few occasions this season where he’s been up the pitch as one of our three furthest forward players and then had to dash back when we’ve lost the ball. Quite the marauder, if a little different in style to Schar’s explorations

He's super aggressive in the press and likes a marauding run off the ball up the pitch.

If Lascelles was to leave this summer, I’d make him club captain.

Bruno is captain and has been this whole season. That whole "club captain/team captain" stuff was nonsense.

That picture of him holding the cup aloft with one arm is so immense. It's like he's an actual giant. The cup looks so small.

The man in the arena.

Alongside Tonali as player of the season for me

Add Hall and I’d agree. Odd that Isak probably wouldn’t make my top three of most influential players this season.

On the subject of BDB’s contract extension: well deserved and the perfect duration too. Add a right sided, quick and strong centre back in the mix and our CB options look really good for the next two seasons or so. We could then look into developing academy players to eventually take over from Schar and BDB.

You’re not seriously suggesting Lewis Hall has been more influential than Isak this season? [emoji38]

Hall can’t be in contention really as he hasn’t played enough. Even though he’s been brilliant.

It’s a shame Hall’s season ended so early.  Can’t even put him above Tino this season.

Tino’s left back run - especially the final - has been immense.

BDB Tonali Isak players of the season for me.  Dan Burn really stepped it up this season.   He’s a war horse.
