Is that clear contact? It can’t have been much if so, at least from angles I’ve seen. His foot might have brushed the attacker’s foot but that’s hardly a stonewall penalty, so I think VAR was right. I’d be annoyed if something like that was given against us.

Personally thought he tried to jump the challenge and only went down because his right foot was kicked by Colback.

 

Another one of those where if it’s outside the box, it’s always given but they shirk making the decision inside the box.

If he didn’t touch him he’s fuming and would rightly be all over him for diving. He knew he touched him.

I’ve watched that several times and I’m still yet to see the clear contact tbh. If anything it’s minimal and may not qualify as a penalty. If it was the other way round though VAR would have probably kept it.
