I see they have Mason Burstow from Chelsea on loan.

Their entire business plan revolves around relying on bigger clubs letting them borrow players that they would never be able to buy for themselves. Burstow is this seasons Diallo.

Has been since about 2008. (Cisse, Rose, Welbeck...)

In all fairness - even though it’s a shite model, most good back better for the loads, broadsword, broadband or whatever he’s called, Diablo and simms all did.

Never heard of Burstow, any good? Had heard of Diallo, was little surprise he ended up being good at that level.

End of the day it's a good model babysitting big clubs kids. More will want to come for game time and those who aren't going to make it for their parent club may even stay. Could be their career stalls and in a couple of years join due to relations.

Theyve got to use any means necessary to move forward without any major outlay, and although they may kick up a fuss selling a few players and only bringing in loans, but eventually it will grt them cash in the bank to make offers for players who they can sell on for bigger profits. It's certainly a business for the owner. It's a club built now as a shop window for clubs around them and a creche for those above.

Agreed, can’t really blame the model. Unless they moneyball via the back office then this is a decent alternative for a club without huge spending power. I think they’ll be a solid championship club for a while though and I’m not sure what would need to happen for them to come up. Probably need some major quality to come through the academy, while getting some good loans and players signed from abroad who also fit. A lot has to come together to make it happen I’d say given the competitiveness of the league

Yes what a coincidence his memory vaguely recalls something that didn't happen that puts us in a made up negative and them in made up comforting.

Kiev apart we've sold out every CL allocation we ever got. Had to be pushing 10,000 in Monaco and Antwerp.

Rome, Lisbon, Metz, Turin were sold out with big allocations of between 4-6k.

Commentary on our last goal in our last CL away game literally said "It may as well be the Gallowgate end"

They took less than all of that and more to Coventry, 3hours away, last week. Away end was half empty and it didn't even look they were given all of it.
