A rare example in which dullards posting shit they've asked AI to generate may actually improve a thread?

Here's my version. I'm gonna keep it short cos I've just got in from night shift, so here goes - Narrow Lee is a Sunderland fan. This makes him a complete daft cunt with zero self-awareness.

That Deluded twitter post

Someone asked Grok to create a story about delusional Sunderland fan called “Narrow Lee”.

Narrow Lee, a Sunderland diehard, was born in the shadow of the Stadium of Light, his heart pumping red and white. A delusional optimist, he’s convinced the 2025-26 Premier League return will see Sunderland dominate, especially against hated Newcastle United. Lee’s backstory includes wild tales: predicting a 5-0 derby win, claiming Enzo Le Fée is “Messi reincarnated,” and swearing he saw the ghost of Bobby Kerr bless the pitch. His pub rants about Newcastle’s “inevitable collapse” are legendary, though mates roll their eyes. Lee’s tattoo of the play-off final score (2-1 vs. Sheffield United) fuels his belief in miracles. Yet, whispers of relegation odds (2/5) don’t faze him—Narrow Lee lives for the dream, not stats.

:spit:

Im now convinced AI is a hoax and its just some guy in a cupboard writing fan fiction.

Bloody hell. Not there too. Seemed to hear that constantly in Costa Adeje, Tenerife last two weeks. They've taken over Europe ☺. It's the only way they will like.

I really thought that Sports Betting Companies had been banned from front of shirt sponsorship.  Must have got that one wrong.

The club of high class and moral standing must know better.

Yeah, just took a look and it isn't banned persay.  Premier League Clubs collectively agreed to stop using Sports Betting Companies as Front of Shirt sponsors by the end of the 25/26 season.  So the end of this upcoming season.

You would expect that clubs generally are looking at exiting such arrangements by now though, not actively starting one!

"Means we'll have a better sponsor than everyone else in the Champo if we somehow go down, everyone wants a piece of little old Sunderland, Premiership is corrupt anyway marra."

How do you remember that? 21 years ago ffs. 😆

The "jewles remain" thing is an immortal classic.

Time flies.  "Catts for me like" dates back 13 years to 2012 but still resurfaces quite often on here.

Post May 2016 was a pisser fir them. We were relegated with one game to go. They thought we'd smash up the city after the Spurs game, Rafa would leave and we'd at best spend a good few years as mid table Championship fodder. However we had a party, Rafa stayed and we came straight back up.

At the same time Big Sam was gonna make them a PL top half team able to challenge for Europe and the cups.

How did that go again?

Not the first time. They beat us in the play offs which ultimately lead to Keegans entertainers. They step out of our shadow for one day then retreat back into it for years

It's about 14 years since the "mags green with envy" comment over their transfer window that included Craig Gardner as one of the biggest money buys.

Remember "Mag on a horse"?  That was 2011.
