Even if they did get to Wembley and win they’d know it’s small change in comparison to our Wembley visit this season.

Joking aside (if I may) Their manager has done a helluva job, considering their budget and wage structure - which I believe is the 3rd lowest in the league.

Pretty sure it’s not the third lowest in the league (Portsmouth, Plymouth, Oxford etc) but it is miles lower than the other teams at the top, so your point still stands.

 

Mind, it’s reportedly higher than Coventry’s…

I don't blame them. They'll sell out quick, and most places will offer a "free cancellation" deal even if you have to pay a few more £s for that.

 

I've just booked a hotel for June on the basis that I might be seeing some mates then. I'd rather book now when the prices are good and just cancel if the trip falls through, as knowing the group of mates is reasonably likely!

1991/92 was the last time being in the play off final would have been a good season for us. Since then we've been too good to play in it.

When they won the pizza cup a mackem tried to rub it in. I told him I genuinely wanted them to win it every year for the next 20. His face dropped when he realised what I meant.
