AGM would drop his shoulders, fake left, fake right, do a pirouette and looked awesome doing it! Isak just draws a man close then his touch and turn of pace and he's 2-3m away from his man. Irish Magpie Posted August 5, 2023 Share Posted August 5, 2023 That was a taster for Champions League and considering it was not our strongest team and a lot of the youngsters came on as subs I'd say it was a good showing. Taking a 2 goal lead to an away game in Europe is canny. Fiorentina were good, keeping possession for sustained periods and some tasty passing at times. They lacked a killer instinct up front going by that game though. Completely different team tomorrow also getting as close to 90 minutes as able. Roll on next Saturday, hope the groundsmen are as good as the team because the pitch is taking a pasting with the amount of games over two days.
