Tbf, his training would (well should) have been much more intense compared to having been on an actual holiday during the Euros. Makes sense to give him some extra time off, though I'm sure he can't wait to get back to train with Eddie and the lads.

Especially seeing as he played the whole U21s tourney the previous summer, had about four days off and came straight back for pre-season. Wouldn't be surprised if Howe/the coaches have put their foot down a bit and said "love the enthusiasm but seriously you need a proper break".
