He loves the line that Newcastle United are only big in Newcastle. Only a handful of clubs in England are big outside of their local area, I wouldn't even put Spurs in that bracket yet.

Aye, I put it on and lasted about five minutes!

Apparently Simon Jordan and Jason Cundy have been ripping our support with the usual bollocks on Talksport

A successful NUFC would kill some of these wankers!

Jason Cundy is just a nasty person, and Simon Jordan likes the sound of his own voice. The longer Simon Jordan goes along with the typical views spouted in the media the longer he can hear his own voice.

The truth is that NUFC has always given people like Cundy (and now Jordan) something to talk about even when there has been nothing to talk about.

Kevin Nolan on BBC MoTD2 Extra when discussing Ronald Koeman's policy that he and his staff must eat before the players "I remember being at Newcastle and Sir Bobby Robson used to do that, he used to tell each table when they could go table by table so he used to have that sort of authority".

Kevin Nolan signed for Newcastle in January 2009.

Sir Bobby Robson was sacked by Freddy Shepherd in 2004.

I'd be happy with 6 points from next 4 games. 20 points after 13 games would be great. Will give us a real platform for rest of the season.

Feels great atm. We are a well drilled team, work hard and we're always in the game. It's been a very decent start.

42 points from 39 games combined.

They're at a lower level whereas us three are punching above our weights and have only 5 points fewer with 12 games played less.
