Quick, before they realise what a sheister they just paid for.

Aye, be trying to get a move to Liverpool, Man City, Barcelona, or Real Madrid within 2 years.

How would the bloke who got left in Brighton know the “confidential” fee?

My opinion on which fanbase has the biggest set of internet arseholes continues to change on a weekly basis.

Undoubtedly Man Utd at present.

Always one of the "Red cartel" club

Newcastle United and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the immediate release of Dan Ashworth from his contractual obligations at Newcastle United.

The terms of this agreement will remain confidential between the clubs.

Newcastle United thanks Dan for his service and wishes him well for the future.

Shame - I liked the fact it was winding up Sir Jim.  Hopefully we took them to the cleaners.

had a browse on Redcafe (horrific forum btw, full of pop up ads) - anyway loads of MU fans seems think their new saviours have played a blinder here

of course it's all pure speculation but they're happy to lap up unsubstantiated reports of £2.7m and Newcastle blinking first

look forward to watching them turn on Ineos when things inevitably turn sour

‘Remains confidential to the clubs’.

That to me, paints it more a deal Man Utd don’t want to be made public, because it doesn’t help them long term when trying to prize people away.

ESPN are reporting full £20m paid up.

imo more believable than the £2.7m fee those toadstools are trying claim as legitimate.  I'll run with £20m to help bring balance to the force.

The 2.7 comes from a wind up tweet from Toon Polls.

I can't see Sir Jimmy R paying anything over £5 million, don't think he wants to pay anyone the going rate.  No matter who they are.

It's likelier that in our PSR panic we relented / compromised on it.
