So we're 100% sure there's no appeal timescale loophole that can be exploited here?

Knowing the FA or whoever, they'll speed up the appeal process, and extend his ban which also includea the final.

Really feel for him. You can see clear as day what happened, it's his instinct to stick his hands out and smother it like that before the striker can get a foot on the ball. Gutting for him - don't blame him though, he's a massive part of why we're even in the final, real shame for him that he can't take part.

You too ?

This was below what is expected

He's the player most responsible for getting us to the final via previous rounds. We wouldn't be there with most other keepers in goal.

He was repeatedly left exposed tonight by our outfield and dropped into risky scenarios, he tries to rescue the situation, and you're bitching like a petulant girlfriend that needs ditching.

No one will be harder on him than himself tbf.

Risks of playing a sweeper keeper but it’s hugely worked as a tactic this season to date.

Little bit of indecision or error of judgement and you’re fucked.

Would love to shithouse the FA and its rules knowing fine well we wouldn't win an appeal but delaying it long enough to play the final. Imagine the media etc calling us cheats

He’ll definitely brush it off, I’m gutted he doesn’t get to play in a final of a competition that he’s been a huge part of but this isn’t going to affect his game at all. He’s an extremely coffins player who’s been our most consistent player alongside Joelinton all season

Was such a strange way to try to clear the ball, I get that he was doing whatever he could to get there but diving head first towards the ball has surely never worked out unless you’ve got total control of your body

Ironically, he managed to do just that 10 minutes earlier.
