Just being Nick Pope invites a good amount of pressure on us simply because teams knows he shits his pants when he can't pick up the ball, and therefore makes the extra effort of pressing him.

It's probably in part because Brentford went ahead of us with the penalty, but when Ramsdale came on, they stopped pressing us all together when we passed it back to him.

Out of curiosity why did you sell Ederson? He's only 32, didn't sound like he wanted to leave and I was under the impression he was meant to be really good.

He wanted to go to Fernebache so City let him go, he won so many trophies with us and I think he wanted a new challenge.

Genuinely think these reactions are mental. He played very well midweek and has done most of the season. He makes incredible saves.

I know. Throwing the guy under the bus. They dont even know if Ramsdale is better. Hes human FFS. He has weaknesses. One day we will have better but get behind the lad. Jesus.

Our centre backs are scared to push up the pitch with him in goal due to his lack of ability on the ball.

It creates a huge systemic issue where there's acres of space in the middle of the park when we press up the pitch and the opposition work out they just need to bypass it by going direct.

I cannot defend him today. Needs dropping after that and for me - replaced with the better keeper in Ramsdale.

For me, it’s not even the punching. I could cope with his kicking if it was neutral but to lose the ball more than half the time when he kicks it is awful for us as a team. Ramsdale not only keeps it in play but it’s an actual weapon for us when attacking. Ramsdale can make the spot his own very quickly if he stays rick free

My god he's weak. For a keeper in the top league...he's weak and lacks basic bravery.

Can absolutely be top-drawer on his day...but he's blatantly scared of a lot of basic things. I reckon that big injury fucked with his head.

And yes, keepers constantly punching is annoying...but the fact he's shit at it is even more infuriating. Nearly clocks a player doing it

When I see this posted, I look back and see what shots would I be disappointed with the keeper with, if it had went in. I don't see many like this.

Incredible saves when? How can people watch football for decades and not figure out that making saves is the easiest part of goalkeeping and any top flight keeper his size with his wingspan is going to make ‘good saves’ as a reactionary formality.

He's made some very good saves at home this season but he seems very suspect away imo which is strange.

The one in the opening seconds v Wolves is probably the only one where I think that'd have been a goal if it had been any other keeper. Possibly Timber v Arsenal as well. The majority are ones a keeper should make, and where you'd be looking at your keeper if it had went in.

Think Ramsdales made legit better saves when he’s played.

Feel like I'm being harsh on Pope and Burn, but I don't in a million years see us getting back in that top 6 anytime soon while they're in the team. They've been a brilliant part of the last 3 to 3 and a 1/2 years of this adventure.

I can see us eventually clicking with Ramsdale & Botman at some point. Hall at LB will be a massive boost in the long run. We just have to roll the dice rather than sticking on a 3. Go with the players who have the higher ceilings. I more than trust Howe to help get us and them there like he has done with countless others.

Should have been dropped after West Ham. Makes some decent stops but it’s pretty pointless when it’s undone by soft goals.

If he’s going for that throw in today he needs to make sure he’s getting there, was so many bodies it was brainless and he should have just stayed on his line.
