Yearning for the days of Darlow and Elliot atm.

We’ll sign a proper keeper this summer, and it’ll be magic.

Hope we get a new CB pairing and DM at the same time because any keeper will struggle with these clowns in front of him.

The bizarre thing about yesterday was I thought we looked miles better with him in goal but then he drops an absolute clanger. Sadly I think that’s the story of this season for him - generally good but too many big mistakes. It kind of worked in previous seasons where we only had one or two bad errors per season but we are on four or five now this year.

That sending off against Liverpool before the Man Utd final broke him.

He was one of the best in the country before that.

Agreed.

He's dropped 6-7 this season.

You can overlook 2-3 over 50 games  but it's legit way more than that at like 25 games.

We do need a like for like replacement. What we don’t need to be spending extra on is a keeper who’s good with his feet. We can’t play out from the back anyway so just launching as far from our goal as possible is definitely the best tactic.

As has been shown by our ever evolving build up play from the back, oh wait…

He's conceded 33 goals in 23 prem games this season, an average of 1.49 goals per game, in all competitions we 1.29 goals per game. This is actually the same as Ramsdales with top 4 averaging 0.8 - 1.1. both of theirs are high middle tier, with our league position being lower middle tier then it does reflect a better keeper would help but there's also a bigger issue you front.

Also even though Trafford has only played 3 games he's conceded 4 goals so he's on 1.33- much too small a data to draw any conclusions though.
