Prospective buyers will have to take into account he will win many games for you, but you will need backup to allow him to rest games (which a club of your size will no doubt have). We have about 13 first team players. But yes I'd happily take the risks for Maddison. I think he'd be the best signing we could make this summer. He'd be a great addition to Newcastle and if we could get him for a fair price given his contract being up in 2024. If we fail to land him then James Ward Prowse would be a great second.
