Well, that's how I watch football in Australia. I subscribe to Optus Sports (FREE with any Optus mobile phone service or A$14.99 per month), get ALL matches live and on demand replays, highlights et al. Includes the Premier League, Champions League, Europa League and Internationals.

Interesting idea

Only right too. As he points out, they could charge £40 a month worldwide and they would gain much more than they do with the current model.

The new Canadian Premier League do a similar thing for $9.99, or about $75 a year. They also have the rights to all Canadian men’s team matches, the Canadian version of the FA Cup, Chinese league, and Mexican league. Best thing about it, it’s not region locked, so I get to watch it all here in the UK without using a VPN.

Simon Jordan is a mega cunt who tried to drive the club he supported out of business because he was so inept and full of himself. Yet because he is pro hard right politics that would kill cities like Newcastle he is still afforded time in the media.

Anyone who likes him is a fucking rectangle. He is a populist and a moron.

Would you guess that would bring in more or less money for the Premier League? That’ll ultimately be what it boils down to. Whatever happens I hope it continues to be an equal 20-way split.
