Stifler
If we had an owner who would sell at a sensible price, sure. Think Ashley would snap your hands off at that now. He's clearly fed up, Sports Direct doesn't need as much exposure as it used too, especially now that it's paying for it, and he doesn't want to have to put his money in it and his fuck up's ate requiring him to do just that whenever we go down. Matt
The Southampton deal see's them buy 80% of the club which values it at £262.5m. With our bigger stadium, arguably bigger name/potential then maybe a £300m/£400m sale wouldn't be an estimate that's far off. Stadium really doesn't matter- all that matters is PL membership and theirs looks far more assured than ours right now. An extra £80m a season in TV money (at a guess) is the equivalent of 120,000 people paying £35 on a matchday every single home league game.

No,he's not. He's enjoying pasting tv money on his wallpaper while mocking the club, the city, the fans, the manager and everything associated with Newcastle United. He's enjoying it man. Did he seem fed up in this recent interviews?
Guest neesy111
I'm reading up on Big Data within football at the moment thought some might be interested in watching this: https://www.sap.com/assetdetail/2016/08/60f69c5e-817c-0010-82c7-eda71af511fa.html It's one of the reasons why hoffenheim are doing so well since they owned by creator of SAP. Drawing parallels. Soz Stifler... Had a few dances off her when I've been in Blue velvet with friends. Think Ashley would snap your hands off at that now. She's one of the ones who will push her fanny in your face, usually I like that but hers smells f***ing rotten. He's clearly fed up, Sports Direct doesn't need as much exposure as it used too Only had dances off her because she agreed to take less money for the dances when me and my mate said we were skint especially now that it's paying for it, and he doesn't want to have to put his money in it and his f*** up's ate requiring him to do just that whenever we go down.

54
If it's only the Premier League, surely you'd still be at risk of losing players to teams in other countries, and even the Football League? Would it not put the League at a disadvantage? It would be excellent news if it was FIFA led.

triggs
Seems like a bit of a nightmare for clubs starting this next season as with the World Cup on it will be hard for clubs to do business in that timeframe
Guest
It's like we'd be penalising ourselves? So say that was this season, our window is closed, but Serie A and La Liga start later so Roma could go £40m for Mahrez and Leicester are f***ed, Barca might go to £120m finally for Coutinho meaning they can't replace him until January, and even then anyone worthwhile is cuptied in the Champions League already. Just leave it as it is.

Guest
Not sure why other leagues should have to come into line with us though. Or have a deadline which could end 1-2 weeks before their own seasons start.
