summerof69
Honestly man, we’re such a good catch all these clubs being valued 1 billion plus is rediculous. 3-400 million to buy us, no debt. Say 1-2 hundred million training, academy facilities, 100 million on new players. we’d be challenging top 6 with an all ready decent sized fan base to build on. Say 1-2 hundred million training, academy facilities, 100 million on new players. we’d be challenging top 6 with an all ready decent sized fan base to build on. Problem is that we aren't worth £400m. Ashley has quoted that price because he thinks no one will pay it as he doesn't really want to sell. If someone came in and put £400m on the table though, he'd probably shit himself. But my worry is he'll shift the goalposts again and try and milk as much from a sale as possible, try and get a feeling that he's 'winning' the deal. God, he's such a vile cunt. triggs
It would take us a lot more than £100m to become a top six side

HaydnNUFC
It would take us a lot more than £100m to become a top six side Agreed but 3 or so quality additions under Rafa, I think we'd be pushing them. About top 8 imo.

I'm not a careful what you wish for kind of person but fuck me, there's no way it wouldn't end in tears. It'd be just our luck.

wormy
I mean, I wouldn't argue with it happening. It's worth a go. I just refuse to believe it wouldn't end with us being fucked over. It's just what I expect now.

Kanj
He should take some ego buy/pride and say he wants to not only be Britain’s richest man with making aonce proud club the new best club in England. Would be a legacy that would live on forever.
wormy
They hit a rocky patch? Needs to find a new motivational tool, the R Kelly soundtrack just isn't have the desired effect anymore clearly.
GeordieDazzler
I know we've had some shady refereeing recently but this takes the biscuit

gdm
I remember similar happened to Dundee United, ball came out, defender picked ball up. Ref didn’t give goal or even penalty for defender handling the ball Edit It’s on Youtube, dunno if it’s ok to post
BlueStar
I know we've had some shady refereeing recently but this takes the biscuit Jesus Christ. Burn it all down. Only now realised what the decision even was, on Scottish Sportscene they seemed to think the linesman must have pulled it back retrospectively to give a throw in cos it went out in the build up. WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Didn't even get the throw-in decision right, ffs. Should've gone to Partick.

Bimpy474
Doesn't the ball get booted out by someone who thought it had gone in, just kicking away in frustration to where the throw in is given. Should have been a Partick throw though

Guest firetotheworks
Forgot about that one. It's like 3 layers of wrong. Ours is probably going to forever be the Ritchie pen.
bigfella
Forgot about that one. It's like 3 layers of wrong. Ours is probably going to forever be the Ritchie pen. Which *IS* the worst decision of all time. Everything else is a matter of opinion, a horrendous error or a genuine mistake. Ours was a referee who either didn't know the rules or bent refereeing, couldn't have been anything else. How more of a song and dance wasn't made about it was astonishing.
