Derby away would be great for greedy personal reasons. https://www.nufc.com/ Quote Newcastle will learn their opponents in this season's League Cup Second Round when the draw takes place this coming Wednesday evening. That will be carried out on Sky Sports following their live coverage of the Sheffield Wednesday v mackems First Round tie (7.45pm kick-off). The competition remains divided into Northern and Southern sections at this stage. There's no bar on sides from the same league being drawn together.
