Doesn't mean if we came offering him £300k he wouldn't take it - hell if Al-Hilal bought him they could off him £1.5mil a week - similar to what Benzema gets.

In that case we won't get heating the "only wants Liverpool" line and he will be signing for Ah Hilal.

He only wants Liverpool cause no one else can afford him.  That said if Al-Hilal came in offering him ££££ and loaned him back to Newcastle I doubt he'd complain.  He wants to be paid what he thinks he's worth at the end of the day.

Are people just writing him off now?  Don't want him to stay?

All depends if hes 'downed tools' or not really. It wouldnt be unlike Eddie Howe to leave him at home because of the situation rather than Isak refusing to go. Silence is pretty deafening mind.

Based on what? I am not condoning his behaviour but I very much doubt if he decided to stay the players wouldn't welcome him with open arms.

Based on his leaks to the press. Not willing to engage on new contract and has named the club he wants to join. That's peak c*nt.

Guehi was absolute dogshit for the last half of the season. Was utterly rinsed inside-out up here.

Don't think that's particularly true regardless of how he did in the game against us. Palace had a good second half of the season and won a cup. And he was a key player in that.

He'd go to Real Madrid or Arsenal if they came in and offered him the same as Liverpool. I probably hate Liverpool more than anyone else on here, but I'm not going to deny they have more world standing and attraction for top players than most. It would be a great move for Isak at this point in his career.

But pay the fucking money if you want him. And that means closer to £200m than £100m.

My guy he literally said he wants to explore other options. What about that statement leads you to believe he wants to stay?

Yeah he was imperious in that cup run against (checks notes) Stockport, Doncaster and Millwall

Just ignoring that they then beat Fulham, Villa and City without conceding a goal then?

He had a good second half of the season as did Palace in general.

I for one hopes he stays by some miracle - because at the end of the day we'll not see the likes of him again at the club for a long time.

New contract, 1 more year for old times sake and then see where we are next season. If this can be resolved and Eddie wants him here then why not. Would love to see him with Wizza who can give him a rest, unlike Wilson the crock.

I think we’ll reject any offers and he’ll be forced to stay and we’ll sell next year.

It would send a clear message too, that’s to our players that want to throw their toys out of the pram and to tapping up cunt clubs.

Would be ridiculous if so. You're a rich person that leaves home a lot, you could burgled anywhere.

Yeah, but I know from my own experience how being burgled can sour your relationship with a place, whether that is rational or not.

His own words in May: “The attack on my home has left me with a sense of unease and I fear it could reoccur.”
