I think very few people are not angry with the club for how they've handled this situation and the transfer window as a whole.

Yeah, obviously we don’t have a fully functional setup in place at the moment and mistakes have been made. But we could still offer Isak CL football, hero status and probably £100k more a week. That’s an amazing deal for anyone.

I hope PIF are reading this.

They aren't,

If they were we'd have a CEO a sporting director and we'd have a new training ground and the stadium would be well on the way.

They've checked out man.

Fixed for you.

Totally with you, he is complicit in this and actively working against the interests of the club to secure this move. Total disrespect and disregard on his part.

Some would prefer not to see it that way but that is the reality of the situation

Aye I'm not cheering at all seeing "yassir al-rumayyan has entered the chat over Isak". Where has this participation been for months?

Eales' departure was announced almost a year ago with the blood cancer diagnosis, we're only now catching whiff of replacements. Opinions on Mitchell have ranged from "only slightly worse than the Hindenburg" to "literal football AIDS." etc

If a player downs tools to force a move whilst at a club where they play every game, the club is doing well, the player is shown fuckloads of love and has 3 years of a contract to run, then the player is a cunt

Doesn’t matter if it’s Alexander Isak or someone else, it’s reprehensible behaviour

I Repeat, nobody wants to hold him back or stop his career.

The reason he's a cunt is the way he's engineered this deal to make sure the price is as low for Liverpool as possible. players leave all the time but most of them act like professionals and handle the transfer with decorum and don't throw the toys out of the pram.

If your employer promised you a pay rise then took it off the table, changed backroom leadership on multiple occasions, and didn't talk to you about any of it until forced to, you would rightly question their leadership and their honesty.

Footballers have short careers and limited times to move.

Also, I remind you that Isak has said nothing so far. No one has.

This situation sucks. I don't want him to leave. I can understand why he might want to go.

Isak wearing Liverpool red in all these tweets is absolutely fucking honking.

Got a feeling this is going to drag on a while yet, hopefully Yassir has found his bollocks and will not move on anything proposed by Liverpool.

To be honest Tommy, I Don't expect any involvment from him. He's the head of the worlds largest sovereign wealth fund I think one glimpse of his calendar would lead to us shitting ourselves truly.

That being said, they hire an army of people to run things and the fact we've been left with a lame duck CEO for 10 months shows how much of a fuck they give about this "project" @McCormick might be able to give us an idea of how visible we are in Saudi but my guess would be it's somewhere between fuck all and zero.

Sorry but that needs to be a hard no. Tell his agent to go get offers from PSG or Barcelona.

Has it dawned on you that Howe and club may feel sale to liverpool is now the best option?

Man Utd. ;D Wishful thinking. We're fine with him going there?

PSG after young, hungry, dynamic forwards and have players in reserve.

Bayern can't compete now.

"We"

Your Mother must have so many regrets.

Poor thing.

Wanting to leave and acting like a cunt by downing tools are two very different things

Agreed. with a small caveat being, if the club broke promises made to him. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, but their seems to be enough smoke that it's been a shitshow outside of the actual football for the last 2 years.

Things change fast, I wouldn't pass judgement until we get some clarity over the next few weeks

Stop making excuses for him, he refused our contract offer this isn't about money.

If it was he'd be wanking himself silly on his way to Medina.

He just checked out for whatever reason and it's fine, players come and players go but respect for the club, this historic club which is much bigger than him is mandatory. He wants to go it's fine just be respectful about it and don't piss in our face.

Yep it’s the absolute worse, such a kick in the bollocks. They’ll be unstoppable.
