6 League games till the WC. Hopefully see a fully fit NUFC before then, but looks doubtful.

Good job Howe can perform miracles and turn piss into fine wine.

It’s about long term for me as well and if it is facilities then address it as we’ve never had owners that do that for a long time, always been a case of “too many injuries - maybe a new sports direct sign will sort things out”

Benitez and his team were rightly given credit for giving us our best injury record in recent memory, it's fair that some questions are asked when that isn't the case.

It's interesting that it's mainly attackers that are dropping like flies and I do wonder what's behind it. Definitely think there's an element of not rushing/risking players, which we've complained about in the past and can't really have both ways.

Well if it’s down to training methods, our training methods since I first started going back in the day have always been shit, cos we’ve had injuries to key players right through from the 70’s up until now….we’re just jinxed ffs, no doubt the players going to the World Cup will come back fucked too, it’s just what happens to us. Christ I’m sounding like a scouser. I’m sure no one is to blame but aye it’s frustrating and annoying.

Typical. The striker we bring in to negate the effects of our crocked striker goes and gets himself crocked for almost the exact amount of time the previous one would have been.

We're gonna see so much Wood this season, you'd think you'd stumbled on to Pornhub.

Given where we are without some of our big hitters, if we can stay there or thereabouts in the table by the time of the WC, we’ll be in a cracking place to have fully fit and rested top players to come back for the push in 2023. Maybe that’s a bit naively optimistic mind
